NYC Gay Men's Chorus 'Vibrates' with Nelly Furtado

Following their sell-out Carnegie Hall show, the New York City Gay Men's Chorus will present Vibrate, an eclectic celebration of contemporary song on Wednesday June 4 and Thursday June 5 at 8:00PM at the Fashion Institute of Technology's Haft Auditorium.

Vibrate blends a buzzing collection of rhythm, where new South African freedom songs sit beside the American premiere of works by Latvian composer Emils Darzins. Rufus Wainwright rubs-up against Nelly Furtado and Gwen Stefani. Plus, the Chorus is proud to present new commissions by Our Lady J and Vermont-based composer Gwyneth Walker.

Bursting with energy, the New York City Gay Men's Chorus offers an edgy look at gay life as we know it. Innovative, eclectic, contemporary, passionate, cuddly and tolerant of literally anything (except homophobia) – New York City Gay Men's Chorus is making waves! Musical Direction by Charles Beale.

Tickets for Vibrate are: $63 Prime Parquet; $48 Parquet; $38 Dress Circle. For tickets and information visit www.nycgmc.org. Haft Auditorium at F.I.T. is located at 27th Street and 7th Avenue, New York.
